“I decided it was time to merge my profession with what I discovered to be my passion…. I was successful in increasing sales and profits, however, it was “working with the people” where I found my “true enjoyment came from coaching and developing them. Seeing the Light bulb go on……. seeing people become engaged, feeling and being on board, becoming more positive.”
JoAnne is the creator of all the audios on this website and they are a diverse blend of Meditative Mind Therapy, a program she created that helped achieve results for many clients over the years. Below is a description of that blend.
MEDITATIVE MIND THERAPY™
Sometimes we need to stop and take a look at what is going on in our life. Discover if we are on track towards our goals or simply coasting with no direction, or have we slipped into old habits of thoughts, beliefs and or actions.
There is a great benefit to our lives in maintaining regular “Mind Checks” like we take our cars in for maintenance or regular oil changes it is equally beneficial to do this with our minds, our thoughts and feelings.
Tension, stress can build up and create mental and emotional blocks just like hair builds up in our shower/bath drains or food etc in our sink drain. Cleaning these out regularly keeps the water flowing freely and prevent clogs and backups.
LEARN TO STOP, LOOK AND LISTEN……..LEARN TO CHANGE …the thoughts that you keep to thoughts that work for you not against you.
™Meditative Mind Therapy: is a diverse mixed form of the 3 tools below
Motivational Enhancement Therapy: a process of analysing, understanding patterns, beliefs, thoughts and habits. MIT focuses on re-patterning client behaviour that is the result of ambiguous and undefined thoughts, aiding the client in clarifying his or her own perceptions and beliefs in order to direct him or her in a more decisive way. The intent is to transform undesired behaviours into desired behaviours.
Hypnotherapy: is a form of psychotherapy utilized to create unconscious change in the patient in the form of new responses, thoughts, attitudes, behaviours and/or feelings. It is undertaken with a subject in hypnosis. Hypnosis is a state of heightened suggestibility and responsiveness. Most commonly used for behavioral modification, re-framing subconscious beliefs and habits to be more positive and supportive of one’s goals.
Guided affective imagery: GAI is a method of psychotherapy. It is a therapeutic technique in which a facilitator uses descriptive language intended to psychologically benefit mental imagery, often involving several or all senses, in the mind of the listener. In this method, the imagination plays an important role together with discussions with the client. It is based on research in guided mental imagery, “catathymic influences” (the interaction of mental contents and emotional processes), dreams and daydreams.
Visualization is a technique for creating mental images, to communicate a message. Visualization through visual imagery has been an effective way to communicate into clarity, subconsciously and cognitively.
Meditative Mind Therapy™ incorporates “Thought coaching” and “Mental Coaching” conscious cognitive coaching and dialogue with repetition of subconscious coaching. The technique has similarities to hypnotherapy where a client is guided into a quiet deeper state of relaxation and effective language is used to create subconscious shifts towards desired outcomes.
For those who desire to make changes and may be uncomfortable with hypnosis. And for those who wish to stay in mental shape; by regularly checking in with their thoughts while going into relaxed states, release tensions stress, mental, emotional blocks and reset to healthier states of wellness.
